Rev. Paul A. Krueger
Tentmaker’s Senior Trainer since 1999

Paul Krueger has been in pastoral ministry for 25 years, serving the last 19 years as Senior Pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Minot, North Dakota. In 2011, following catastrophic flooding in the City of Minot, Pastor Krueger was appointed to the region’s Long Term Recovery Committee and is currently the director of Hope Village, Minot’s one-stop flood recovery center.  In a short ten months, under Pastor Krueger’s leadership, Hope Village has coordinated the efforts of nine national faith-based flood recovery organizations to provide more than 92,000 hours of volunteer service to the people of Minot.  In addition to service to the North Dakota District and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Pastor Krueger serves as a lead trainer for Tentmaker’s Leadership Training and is currently a student in the Doctor of Ministry program at Fuller Seminary where he is focusing on Missional Leadership. He and his wife Julie have been married 32 years and together have four adult children.

Rev. Joel Brandvold
Tentmaker’s Lead Trainer since 2005

Joel Brandvold has been in pastoral ministry for 24 years.  His passion for youth and their faith-walk placed him in the midst of outdoor ministry for the past 16 years.  He is the Executive Director of Shepherd’s Hill at the Crossroads Retreat Center, which became a full-time position in 2006.  He enjoys leadership training, woodworking, “playing” with his cattle and spending time with his family, including his wife Sue and sons, Phillip and Jason.

Rev. Les Wolfgram
Tentmaker’s Associate Trainer since 2005

Les Wolfgram serves as pastor of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Bismarck, ND.  He and his wife Denise have three children, Andrew, Grace and Dane.  Les enjoys spending time with family at their family home.  Les is a chaplain for the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a consultant for stewardship growth ministries, and the chairman of the Empowered Stewards Standing Committee for the North Dakota District (LCMS).

Rev. Tim Jenks
Tentmaker’s Associate Trainer since 2005

Tim Jenks is the Pastor at Bethel Lutheran in Bismarck, ND.  He has spent most of his life in the state of North Dakota.  He lives in Bismarck, ND, with his wife of 28 years, Michelle.  In 2012 he was elected as Pastoral Counselor for the ND District LWML.

 Rev. Clark H. Jahnke
Tentmaker’s Trainer since 2010

Clark Jahnke has been in pastoral ministry 24 years.  He has served Andrew Lutheran Church of West Fargo, ND (since 1992) and has served as its Senior Pastor since 1997.   He has been involved with Tentmakers since 2002, Leadership Quest 2003 and Excel Leadership since 2010.  He and Susan have been married 27 years.  They have four sons, Philip (who is married), Nathan, Jonathan and Matthew.  He enjoys his family, gardening, horticulture, history, music and different facets of education.  He has served on the North Dakota District (LCMS) Divisions of Stewardship and Education and is currently serving on the Board of Directors,  2nd Vice President and the Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee.

Chris Waldvogel
Tentmaker’s Associate trainer

Chris Waldvogel is associate pastor at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND.  While studying at St. Louis University, he became involved as a volunteer with campus ministry and decided to enter church work full time. He entered Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in 2004, graduating in May 2008. Along with his duties at BSLC, Pastor Chris is a member of the board of directors for Shepherd’s Hill at the Crossroads and the Eastern Circuit adviser for the LWML. He and his wife, Jamie, have been married for 11 years and have one son, Jacob, 7.

Susann DeForest
Tentmaker’s Associate trainer

Susann DeForest has been an involved member of Our Savior Lutheran Church since 2006. She is currently the board president of Little Hands Loving Hearts Child Development Center which is a mission of OSLC and represents the center on the OSLC board. In addition Susann serves as part of the Hope Village resource team as well as being involved in many projects at OSLC.  Although born and raised in California, North Dakota has been her home most of her adult life.  She graduated from Minot State University and has been an RN for 18 years. She has been the nurse manager of Trinity Hospital’s Emergency Trauma Center since 2007.  She has two adult children and a grandson.
